About Michelle Hollender
Our Story
I'm passionate about turning a blank wall into a visual story that makes your business unforgettable. I studied graphic design and various applied arts at East Carolina University, then finished my degree while working as a graphic designer at a sign company in Florida — a job where I learned fast and loved every minute of it.
When I moved back to Virginia, I spent nearly nine years as a commercial designer, creating playgrounds for schools, parks, and daycares — work that taught me how a space affects the people who move through it, long before I ever thought to apply that to paint.
Painting itself came back into my life almost by accident, picked up as something just for me after I had kids. I soon volunteered to help paint floats for my son's school parade, then painting signage, then my first mural — and somewhere in that progression, two decades of design instinct collided with a paintbrush and everything clicked into place.
I believe art is a core piece of the human experience, and every space deserves to reflect that. My mission is simple: make the spaces people move through every day more beautiful, more memorable, and more true to the businesses they belong to.
I combine design instinct, brand strategy, and a genuine love of paint to create work that doesn't just decorate a wall — it tells your story. Let's transform your space.
